DOES IT ALL LIE IN YOUR FAITH, OR GOD’S FAITH FOR YOU…?

Who is responsible for the faith that will produce results in your life; God or You??

Each year comes with its own challenges which God expects you to overcome. 2012 is no different from the others, just that it will be more GLORIOUS for those who believe. Whose faith will make it work, yours or God’s??

Luke 17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: YOUR FAITH hath made thee whole.

Matt 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, “Daughter, be of good comfort; YOUR FAITH hath made thee whole”. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Acts 14:9-10 he same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

Mt 9:28-29 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it unto you”

Hmmm…., I can just imagine what will be going through your mind now… are you thinking what I am thinking?... I came to you to heal me, your faith is supposed to do the job, not mine. You are the one who said you are sent from God and can heal, so, here I am and you tell me what     “ IT LIES IN MY FAITH”? You sure didn’t mean that right?

Alright! Holla every one, this is just what I thought. But I have come to figure out something. If I claim to have something, and you think you need what I have, you gotta ask for it, then I know you need it, and then I give it to you. But if you think I should know that you need what I have and so that is the end, you gonna loose BIG TIME. It is the same with God, you are the one who need help from Him, so you should reach out to Him, ask Him for it, and believe he will not turn you down, because he wouldn’t. It’s just like the way you click on an icon on your computer, there is no way that icon will not respond to your click. So long as you ask knowing that you will receive it, in fact that is what will happen to you. This attempt which you make to receive from God, is an indication of your faith in Him, that He will not turn you down. No wonder he told the leprous man and the lady with the issue of blood that, their faith had made them well.

Okay, so what? You need God to intervene in any situation for you, reach out to Him in prayer, and believe you have what you ask for, then, like a click on an icon, that thing will definitely come your way. TRY IT, IT WORKS.

In case you wanna know, the extent to which we receive from God depends on how strong our faith is in Him. This faith comes by our experience with God in our daily walk with Him. The more we DESIRE to know God for ourselves and walk closer with Him, we have automatically made way for the Holy Spirit to lead us. Then we begin to GROW in Faith because God will be revealing Himself to us, step by step. As we get to know Him better, it becomes easier to receive from Him, because we know Him better.
